If I was turning wrenches non stop 5 days a week I might want better quality. I found snap on and craftsman both have the same germination in my fields here.įor the wrench turning I do I find the other brands are good enough. We repair everything ourselves and have an ag repair business repairing local farmers equipment too. Our dealer is here every Tuesday 4pm, this is why they are so expensive and worth it to me, no quetions when there is a warranty issue. Lately I have even bought a few "on sale" for the service truck, sockets rachets, etc. We have a large number of Snap-on tools and like your budy I swear by them. They only need to get paid half to make a profit How do you think those trucks can offer credit to every muffler mechanic. Everything was at least 40% less then on a truck. Worked for a aircraft company and could buy snap tools for there price. Posted 05:19 (#2812016 - in reply to #2811424) Subject: Re: Are Snap-On tools really worth it?

Yes, as long as you can keep up with them. Posted 20:30 (#2811424 - in reply to #2811397) Subject: Re: Are Snap-On tools really worth it? So, are they (Snap-On ) really worth it? Thanks for your input. I enjoy working on my stuff and building things. I asked him what he pays for tools and I about died when he told me how much they cost. I do a fair amount of my own work on my own equipment but nothing for hire. I have a buddy who has an auto shop and swears by his Snap-On tools.
